On of the animals we saw in Kenya that would show up in herds was the Wildebeest. This member of the Antelope family has such interesting markings on it’s face. The black face with the distinctive horns, and ears are what I consider one of the quintessential animals of the continent of Africa.
In this photo (captured from an open sided safari jeep) I like how both the Wildebeest closest along with the one in the background have both turned their heads to look at me (us). The varied earth tones on the animals complement the golden tones of the savanna brush. I also really like the black on and around the tail. And the black mane that sticks up in an interesting patterns also adds to what I believe is an interesting image.
