While in the city of Hanoi, Vietnam we spent hours walking the streets as there is so much character and culture. There are many vendors who offer their products on carts, motorcycles, and bikes. We came across this cart on the sidewalk overflowing with fruit – whole fruit and cut-up fruit.
I would not expect this photo to win any awards but the colors and shapes still jump out at me. It’s a microcosm of the street life I see in many cities in Southeast Asia: passersby in a busy city, motorcycles most everywhere you look, vendors doing their best to make a living. And the shop behind offering many choices of domestic and likely imported apparel. A colorful slice of life in modern day Vietnam.
