Whimbrel Walking

On a trip to San Diego while walking on the beach I saw this bird walking on the wet shore.  With a little research I learned this is the Whimbrel.

I like the fact that the right foot is captured in motion, creating a feeling of motion.  And that is amplified in the reflection which I like a great deal with it’s textures and reflections on the top of the image from buildings along the beach.
