Join me as I walk through the rain forest jungle of Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica. We were fortunate to spend several days at an eco resort there a few years ago – it’s one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet. We would walk through this jungle down to the beach. One day I looked up to see the sun peeking through the canopy of the tall trees. I love the small but intense bright light with the streaks of light fanning out in all directions. I have learned over the years that sun light filtered through the leaves of trees has a actual work in the Japanese language: Komorebi.

Apart from the obvious sunlight features I really enjoy all the green in this image as well as the tree trunks that seem to climb all the way to heaven, accentuating the height of the forest in this lush tropical spot.
