This is (a portion of the) Pula Arena, a Roman amphitheater located in Pula, Croatia. It was constructed between 27 BC and AD 68 and is one of the six remaining Roman coliseum’s in the world.
I like in this image you can totally see the Roman architecture, with the arches and columns and the bricks up close in the foreground allow you to see close-up what the rest of the structure is made of.
