At the end of our road trip to Badlands National Park in South Dakota, we made our way north through the beautiful Custer State Park and up into Wyoming.  We spend 1 night in a Tipi (really) and visited Devils Postpile National Monument (originally called either Bear Tipi or Bear Lodge by the native peoples who lived in this region for thousands of years).

While on our approach to the Park we saw these horses grazing and thought it would make a beautiful image.  I love the verdant fields of grass and each of the horses bending down while feeding with the unique basalt tower looming in the distance.
