One of my most favorite spots in the SF Bay Area in Spring is at Land’s End in San Francisco, where the City meets the Pacific Ocean. There’s this little spot where the Sutro Baths provided recreation and entertainment for San Franciscans from the late 1800s through the 1960s.

The old structure is now taken back by nature, including this grove of Cala Lillies. You can hike down and find yourself surrounded by these beautiful white littles with their tell tale long yellow spadix coming from the center of each flower.

I love the ocean so this spot and the photos captured here bring me joy. This image was captured on a bright, sunny day. I love the ocean wave in the background, with Seal Rock in the distant center of the frame. The field of Lillies flowing away from the camera create a feeling of abundance of nature.
