In several of my photos you can see I enjoy capturing patterns. This is one of my favorites – lanterns in the Imperial City of Hue, Vietnam. With the row of golden lanterns and their tassel coupled with the rows of red pillars, there’s a nice long row that accentuates the long hallway. In the background we can see the green tile roof and the yellow side of the building with additional tile mosaics – in soft focus which pulls your attention to the foreground lantern. The contrast between the red and gold colors adds to the scene.
