Captured this pair of Dandelion blossoms at China Camp State Park along San Pablo Bay in Northern California. To me this symbolizes the season of Autumn in California – with dry grasses amidst some still green vegetation. Behind and just above the Dandelion is Rattlesnake Grass – so named as the seed pods are hollow except for seeds which can rattle in the wind.

I like the range of colors in this image, along with the amazing geometric patterns of the Dandelion.
