On our recent trip to the Big Island of Hawaii, we enjoyed the walk (hike on a paved path) through the rain forest on the east side of the island. Amidst the many different tropical plants and flowers you have this beautiful view of the Akaka Falls waterfall. The narrow fall plummets 442-feet into a stream-eroded gorge surrounded by lush, green vegetation.
