I’ve had a personal mission over the last few years to be able to capture photos of the beauty we see underwater so that I can share that with my friends and family, having tried several different cameras.
This year I have been working with the Olympus TG-6 and really enjoyed the quality and color reproduction it provides. Here is a photo of a Parrotfish – Uhu in the Hawaiian language.
They are one of the larger fish we see on the reefs in Hawaii and yet one of the more timid and shy fish. If you watch them closely you can see them scraping rocks and coral, and actually hear the crunch, crunch, crunch sounds underwater.
