I am regularly fascinated with water droplets. This was a few years ago while walking our dog in the morning. I noticed these water drops and how they just appeared to linger and gather on the leaves. I chose to push my lens up close to the leaves in the center and by focusing on the leaf just to left of center I was able to render the other part of the plant with a soft focus (out of focus) which draws the eye to the droplets on that leaf. One of the things I appreciate about photography is that it almost requires you (me) to look more closely at our world and everyday things I might have missed, now command my attention.
