This image captures for me the essence of a quiet, calm evening in Hawaii.
I love the range of colors in the sky, from the deep blues to the golden colors surrounding the rising sun and the streaks of light emanating from the sun. The tall, majestic palms against the sky are classic with the addition of the reflection in the pond, it adds a whole new vibe. I don’t really like to capture structures unless they’re historic or culturally significant (like the temples in Southeast Asia) but the rounded buildings of the Hilton property work for me in this photo.
We truly love visiting the Big Island of Hawaii and the grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa are a delight for the eyes and the lens.
