Back from a vacation on the Big Island of Hawaii…
On our walk at Akaka Falls State Park on the Big Island I saw this glorious Torch Ginger bloom. What an amazingly beautiful plant!
I love the textures and the vivid colors of the many petals. I believe the green leaf at right and the brown straw like palm at right complement the scene along with the soft focus green foliage background.
