The great majority of my photography is during the daytime or just before and after day (sunrise and sunset). There’s this one spot that I’ve seen over the years that has been “calling my name” for the potential image.
The Bay Bridge spans between Oakland and San Francisco – with an island in the middle. Yerba Buena Island has a tunnel that the highway passes through and above the tunnel is a road that provides you with a view looking directly down the bridge with the city of San Francisco in the background.
Recently I took the opportunity to visit this spot and came away with several photos (on a tripod with timer setting to avoid any camera shake). This Is my favorite photo from that night.
