On a visit to the Bartholomew Park in Sonoma I was happy to view and capture the signs of spring in the vineyards. On the grounds of the park with more than 300 acres that is administered by a non-profit foundation are some beautiful grounds – and the Bartholomew Estate Winery.
I captured this photo of the yellow Bermuda Buttercup while kneeling down beside the rows of grape vines. I like how the narrow depth of field focuses our attention on the yellow Buttercup in the left foreground but still has the other flowers with soft focus throughout the image.
