Captured this image on the western cliffs of Point Loma-Cabrillo National Monument. It’s the tip of land across from San Diego. There are lots of Naval installations on the land but still some rugged natural landscape to be enjoyed (and tide pools I am told).

The photo was the prominent succulent speaks of dry land as we’re close to the border with Mexico and the beautiful Pacific Ocean laying out beyond.  In the faint distance you can see islands on the horizon – these are the Coronado Islands in Mexico.
