While hiking in Custer State Park, South Dakota we say rustling in the trees. We stopped and after a few minutes saw this Pine Marten looking our way. I captured one photo with s/he hiding in the trees and then it moved to sit on a log in this meadow when I captured this photo. I still look at this photo and smile – it looks so curious.
