Sunrise captured through the Santa Barbara Pier. While walking along the beach at sunrise in Santa Barbara I saw the pylons of the pier with the sun behind. As I got closer I liked the contrast between the black of the pier and the orange sky behind. I love this moment where the sun appears to sit just atop the Santa Ynez Mountains with it’s sunbeams stretching all the way down the ocean to the gentle surf beneath the pier.
