“I wonder sometimes if fog is just the clouds that could not stand being away from the earth any longer.”- Tyler Knott Gregson

There’s a lot of subtle things I like about this photo, captured at China Camp State Park (Northern California) after a morning mountain bike ride.

The California Oak Trees are such a majestic sight with their scraggly branches going out in all directions, with both verdant green and brown grasses at their base. In the foreground are the reeds of a marsh and in the background the slope of a hillside with shrubs and another more full tree at far left. All this Flora enmeshed in fog.
