When I think of texture in many of my photos, there are textures in the natural world. Interesting textures in plants, animals and even landscapes. But this photo really highlights some unique and vivid textures created by humans (and the aging of time).
As we walked around the Imperial City of Huế there was many photo opportunities, this is one of my favorites. There are so many interesting shapes – ovals and rectangles. And the varied colors with red, yellow, grey, blues and even green foliage sneaking in. I believe it really provides that sense that you’re right there with me, looking down these ancient doorways.
