On our trip to Costa Rica we ventured to Manual Antonio National Park. It was a lush green jungle that was home to a number of tropical creatures. We hiked through the park down to the sandy beach that fronts the Pacific Ocean. As we approached the beach we saw people looking up into the trees. There – not far above us – were several of these Howler Monkeys. I captured the photo of this Howler Monkey that appears like it arranged a floral lei.
But the way, Howler Monkeys are named appropriately – you’ll hear their voice/s loudly in the early morning reverberating through the jungle.
