On our trip to Valley of Fire State Park (Nevada) we really enjoyed the scenery driving thru the park. It was 102*F so we did most of our experience in the park from the car in air conditioning – although there were some (reportedly) good hikes.

I captured this image at the end of one of the roads that fared off the main road thru the park. I love the windy road as it snakes off into the distance, the different shapes and colors of the rocks and the sparse wispy clouds in the blue sky.
