There are so many beautiful animals on this planet – to see and to photograph and share with others. We live a short distance from a State Park and on the way there is a pond with what looks like an old fence post in the middle. Sometimes there is a bird sitting on that post.
This one day I saw this beautiful Snowy Egret there and the lighting was just right… it was late in the afternoon and much of the sun had left the pond, leaving it in shade. But the sun still shined on this beautiful white bird.
I love that you can pinch in on this photo and see the texture in it’s feathers. I also like how you can see it’s feet/claws grabbing onto the post, the yellow colors on its feet and on the top of it’s beak near the eyes. It appears that it’s looking right at you in this photo
