Captured this image while on our 7 mile loop hike in Custer State Park, South Dakota. For me it captures the feeling of being on the trail – I like the branches of the tree on the left which gives you the feel of being IN the forest.
The boulders in the foreground and distance remind me of the scampering we did over rocks throughout the trail. Fortunately we were blessed with a beautiful and dramatic sky that day as well. A good memory of our road trip to South Dakota and the Badlands.
