Several years ago we were vacationing on the Florida east coast at Cocoa Beach. We had a hotel just over the sand berms – I would wake up early, before sunrise to capture the first light of the day (crazy – when I’m on vacation I do not like to sleep in and miss the sunrise).
It was a great spot with this pier which added some real character to the photos. I love the thin sheen of the tide which gives a nice reflection – coupled with the shore birds as well as the lone seagull in flight (not to mention the interesting color of the sun in the clouds).
