On a Vespa tour in Vietnam several years ago we stopped at a  coffee roastery and learned the process for making proper Vietnamese coffee.  I prefer mine with sweetened condensed milk which is called ca phe nau (brown coffee).

I feel like this image captures that moment well – with the young woman carefully pouring the boiling water into the small metal cups.  I like that you can see the thick vegetation outside the window, the angle of the lined up coffee cups and that you can even see the stream of water as it’s being poured.

The name of this coffee company is Cavalry Coffee – outside the ancient city of Hoi An, Vietnam. Their website is .
