On my last trip to Bali I was out walking one day outside the small village of Mengwi. I was out seeking photo opportunities in the rice fields surrounding the village.
I came across this woman who was loading huge sacks of rice onto her motorbike. She had already loaded bags in the front and several across the seat behind her. I forget exactly how we communicated but I could tell she was asking if I could help. Together we loaded the remaining sacks onto the bag of the scooter. I held them in place while she tied them down.
She game me a slight bow and deftly climbed aboard her overloaded motorbike and drove off down the road. I pulled up my camera and captures this photo.
