Walking around the grounds of the Puri Santrian resort in Sanur, Bali can be a most contemplative experience. Interspersed among the lush vegetation are Balinese figures that invite you to pause with them and reflect on the moment.
I captured this photo in the hopes of conveying that feeling. I love the intricate details on the stone figure and the significant amount of green throughout. The depth of field draws the eye to the figure in the foreground while also allowing the tropical plants in the background to fill in the mood of the image.
