Happy to have family over this week. I love this photo of my grandson – it speaks to me of summer. I like how gingerly he is holding the creamsicle, with a slight smile and a look of anticipation. The out of focus background fills in a summer story… with the chaise lounge chair; the table with clothes (his brothers shirt, removed to play with the hose), and a can of beverage. On the far right you can barely make out a colorful toy and some backyard plants splashed with the sun.
