On a visit to San Diego we visited the Wine Garden of Carruth Cellars. It was a cool and cloudy day so we sat indoors looking out at the garden. We had a delightful lunch with the Farmhouse Chopped Salad with a flight of Crostini. Each slide of Baguette had different toppings that were delicious.

I like this photo as it totally brings back the memory of this wonderful lunch. The arrangement of the food (as they prepared the dishes) set on plain white serving dishes on the white marble counter is a nice contrast to the colorful view outside. The older window (was a Navy barrack from last century) mutes the view but still provides enough color to draw the eye outside.
