We spent 3 days on a trek through the Lao Cai Province in Northern Vietnam a few years ago – it was interesting getting out in the countryside with a heavy agriculture culture. We walked each day, sometimes through pouring rain. I captured this man tending his tall rice plants on the terraces. I love the deep greens throughout the image. The tiny bamboo fence in the foreground adds an interesting element and the farmer in a (natural) pose captured while at work.
