A few years ago we were fortunate to take a photo safari in Kenya, Africa. It was such an amazing and exhilarating opportunity to be that close to the wild things.
I rented a long lens for my camera knowing I would want closer images of the animals, without being close enough to become their meal. This is one of my favorite images of a male Lion. I love how it captures his intensity, his focus.
