While snorkeling in Hawaii we occasionally see these larger fish swimming by us. The Jack or Trevally are larger with silvery scales fish that swim fast past us every time.
I was able to capture this image as they swam past us quickly – it’s interesting to me that these much larger fish are way more skittish than the smaller reef fish (but maybe that’s how to they up to be bigger if they avoid hanging around to be caught).
I like that you can see how close we (they) are to the surface with it’s silvery-blue reflection and there’s a snorkeler out of focus in the distance.
