To commemorate International Surfing Day I want to share this photo I captured at Pacific Beach in San Diego, California. We were walking the beach at sunset when I saw these surfers who had just come out of the water after an evening surf. They turned to look out at sea and I moved behind them to capture this moment.
I love their silhouettes against the range of light and colors of the sea and the sky. The pier coming out of the left frame and the dark shadows of people still in the water add a nice element.
