On our trip to North Sulawesi, Indonesia for some fabulous snorkeling we would take a boat out each morning to a different reef around Bunaken Island. This afforded some good opportunities to capture photos of our journey and the life around us.
I captured this image of a sole fisherman heading out for the day. I love the color of the image – the blue on his boat matches his shirt and the sky. The splashing of the water near the motor of his boat gives the full sense of motion in a still image. And the person looking forward to his destination with the woven hat on his head adds to the image.
