Captured this lone seagull on Asilomar State Beach, Pacific Grove, California. We were walking along the beach on a cool, foggy morning and I noticed this one seagull standing on the beach. I like how it’s posed looking out to sea, with a shallow sheen of water over the beach with clumps of seagrass scattered on the beach. And the gull has some interesting color variations all down its body from it’s head to it’s tail feathers.
