Although a majority of our attention (and time) in Hawaii is under the sea, there are some interesting animals on land… especially some very colorful birds.
Captured this Saffron Finch sitting on a coconut. They move fast so I’m pleased I was able to capture a photo of this tiny colorful bird. I love the look on it’s face, the texture of it’s feet on the coconut and how the softly focused background (narrow depth of field) really draws you eye to the bird itself.
