I read that this spot outside Miami was a good place to go for the sunset, so I traveled to Matheson Hammock Park. I got there a little after the sun had dropped on the horizon but I was still able to enjoy the colorful sky with the many palm trees in the foreground.

I like this photo because of the silhouetted palms, the range of colors of the sky – from the yellow and orange at the horizon to the deep blue and purple above. I like the colored reflection in the “Atol pool” and the fact that you can also see a sliver of the moon above.
