Mai Tai

I captured this image at at our favorite “watering hole” on the island of Hawaii, Huggo’s On the Rocks. They are known for their this beverage – their Mai Tai.

I shot this with a narrow depth of field to focus on the beverage while still including the rest of the bar to establish the “place”, the environment. I like the blue of the bartender (he was great) and the glowing balls of white, the string of lights on the outside patio that overlooks the ocean.
