Once in a while I like taking a photo looking through a window and including the window frame. To me, it creates a stronger feeling for the viewer that the person viewing the photo is really there in that moment.
Visiting Alaska a few years ago, we spent one night in a small fishing village on the Kenai Peninsula called Ninilchik.
There are some older wooden boats, sitting high and dry in the middle of grass fields in town along with several older abandoned cabins (homes). I carefully walked into one of these buildings and really liked the view looking out. This is one of the photos I captured.
