I do love capturing the sky and the horizon wherever I am in the world at the start and then at the end of the day. There’s something very magical to me about the range of colors as the sun interacts with the range of colors in the sky, and when clouds interplay – that’s even more beautiful. And to capture a bird in flight in the scene – it’s a gift.
I captured this moment just as the sun was rising at Cocoa Beach on the east coast of Florida a few years ago. I still really enjoy reliving this moment through the image.
