Captured this image at a daily market in the village of Hội An, Vietnam. We were there with a group tour selecting ingredients for a Vietnamese cooking class.
I was struck by the variety of colors and shapes. You’ll probably see some recognizable fruits in the photo – as well as some that are rare in the US (though I have begun seeing them in a few local markets)… among them, Dragon Fruit and Rambutan.
I also like that you can see a shopper and the proprietor in the photo, adding to the feeling that you’re at a market.
