Some very interesting images are found in the many markets in Southeast Asia. And it’s the reason why cuisine like Thai food tastes very different in that country than when I have had it back home… the ingredients are so very fresh.

I captured this image at a market in Thailand. I crouched down low to put the fresh fish (on ice) in the frame with the rest of this vendor’s wares and the vendor themself in the frame. It’s also unique for the railroad tracks running right through the market. This is the Maeklong Railway – where the vendors awnings pull back when the train approaches and the rail cars move right through the market.
