Amazing to me how a photo can capture a feeling – this image brings me joy with a feeling of celebration and togetherness. It also brings up the feelings of Christmases past with loved ones who have passed on. I chose to capture the image at night so the lights and the lit candles would be more pronounced. I also added a glow effect along with a bit of a mystical filter to enhance the effect.
