I would not have come up with this by myself but apparently this is the Droophead Tufted Airplant.
The bright red and orange-yellow colors seem to just pop out of the background of the green leaves. And thanks to mother nature the shapes of the red leaves with the yellow-orange bursting forward really draws me in to this image.
Captured this beautiful specimen while walking through the Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve and Garden on the Big Island of Hawaii. If you ever visit the Big Island, this stop is definitely worth morning or afternoon visit!
