Visiting Southeast Asia is a feast for the senses – the food is full of wonderful, fresh new flavors and there is so much that is photogenic. While visiting the Grand Palace in Bangkok, Thailand you have many moments where the architecture, the colors, the imagery cause you to pause and really take it in.

There was this hallway with this long line of seated golden Buddha. That alone was an image that caught my eye. Then you add in all the colors of the walls, the floor, the ceiling. And then the white columns with the gold and red filigree at the top. I also enjoy the shadow of the Buddha on the back wall and even the shadows the columns leave on the floor.
