On our trip to Badlands National Park in South Dakota one evening just before rain we saw a group of Bighorn Sheep, but they were some distance away on the craggy peaks of a hill.

A few days later, as we were driving out on a gravel road to find a reportedly large herd of Bison we saw a small group of Bighorn Sheep, right by the side of the road. And they were perched on the edge of a canyon, giving us this great photo opportunity.
