On our visit to Pinnacles National Park we stayed at a wonderful B&B just outside the West entrance to the park.  We had a patio that was surrounded by French Lavender that would bend and move with the breeze.  I heard the distinct sound of a hummingbird tapping the nectar of the flowers and attempted to capture a photo of the bird.  Happy to get one good image out of several attempts.

This apparently is one of Anna’s Hummingbird found in coastal California.  A beautiful sight moving and at 1/400 of a second.
