On our trip to Oahu last month my wife and I joined a small group that took us just under a mile off-shore to “Turtle Canyon”. It’s a reef off Waikiki Beach where many turtles congregate as it’s a cleaning station where small fish clean the algae off their shells. Usually the fish will swim away as we approach. Apparently some of the excursions apparently feed the fish – we actually swam through schools of small fish – that’s where I captured this photo on my GoPro camera.
